This shaft was obtained with a lot of about 40 - 50 shafts that I purchased approx. 3 years ago, therefore I can not verify anything about it's origins.
The shaft appears to me to be a Huebler shaft, if it is not, it was made by another builder to replace a shaft on a Huebler cue, or to update another make by using the nylon insert.
The things I can tell you are,
The shaft is in very good condition, actually I would call it an unused shaft, except there are a few tiny dings in it, about the size of a pencil lead. These probably occurred though time by just being moved around while in stock.
There really are no traces of chalk on the shaft, and the nylon insert is still clean, which if it was screwed on a butt more than a couple times would be turning black by now.
The shaft is straight, has a few sugar marks on it, and has a very nice straight grain.
The joint diameter is .8425"
The ferrule diameter is 13 mm
Plain black collar
5/16 x 18 thread, nylon insert
tip appears to be Lepro or sim.
I will take $70.00 for this shaft, and the Priority Mail shipping would be an additional $7.50 to the conti USA
Thank you,
Rudie
