hello all. keeping true to form, I'd like to offer this COKER cue I traded Speedy5963 the BCM cue for. this cue is "new" like he told me, with the exception of 1 shaft being used maybe 20 games or so. the other shaft is unchalked and unused. tips are "Triangle" tips. this cue in my opinion is alot less stiff than the bcm was, but still has a nice firm hit to it. it has a purple heart forearm/ buttsleeve w/ holly/ ebony points, and holly diamonds between the point bottoms. it's really a nice looking and playing cue, but the butt is thinner than my DZ cues, and going back and forth between them is no good for me. it's gotten me all messed up, so if you like coker cues...this one's for you. this is one of the only cues in a long time with a wrap, and floating points I actually like the way it looks and plays. I wish the butt were a little bigger so I'd hang onto it, but it isn't so it's gotta go :( . the only flaw I have found is a "bubble" in the finish at the buttcap and I told speedy about it after seeing it, but wasn't going to make a big deal over it. just thought I'd let you all know before any offers. I'll try to have speedy post pics for me as this cpu won't let me  . if you like "thinner" butts, you'll love this cue. I think it plays well. the joint is 3/8x10 also. I may even be able to send pics to someone's e-mail address if they'll post them for me. let me know, Jeff (814)602-5526 I'm told this cue sells new for around $1000 so I'm looking for $700 shipped. it was made in 7/05

Yes, this cue was new and a very nice cue! Here are some pics

thanks "speedy" Paul. I appreciate it. it's always nice to see what someone has for sale, interested or not.

trade perhaps

to anyone interested, I'd be willing to trade this for a Gilbert j/b w/ 2 shafts, or the right "plain jane" cue w/ 2 shafts (preferrably wrapless)

Duke was a great guy to deal with, nice to talk to and I would suggest anyone interested to give him a shot. I read some of the previous post and should be happy someone decided to stick with the sport, that is why pool seems to never get anywhere compared to other sports, people love to push others out.

i couldnt tell you how many times i was frustrated with the way i been playing and broke numerous shafts and cheap break cues.. i even threw my case across the pool once.. i was that ticked off.. i wanted to quite a number of times.. and even though i dont play as much as i would like to, or used to, i still love the game the idea and everything that goes with it.. and now, i have over 5grand in cues.. who would have thunk it.. i am glad i stayed playing.. even though i still cant run two balls in a row.. but eventually i may.. so there is hope yet!

I hear you there Chris, nothing more frustrating then being at a nice tournament and warming up, running a rack or two walk off, start your match and everything goes wrong, lol...I went from an area of having nice pool rooms and tournaments to now where my house is about the only place in town with a full size table.

auction site now

this may be a little hurried, but the auctions are free right now and who knows for how long, so it has been placed on "cueauctions.com" for ANYONE who thinks they may be interested. also, just bumping this up to page 1. I'm still looking to trade for a gilbert j/b if anyone has one to get rid of...I might even trade even up for the right one w/ 2 shafts. let me know, you all have seen my phone number :D

link

thanks for the link Chris. also, just bumping it up so it doesn't get lost in former threads and impossible to find. offers anyone?

no

no interest in this cue at all  I was under the impression you guys (some of you) liked Coker cues as I've seen a few threads containing them. well...if you haven't seen this thread and are at all interested, make a trade offer, maybe I'll consider it.

sold

this cue is gone guys...sold to another az'er, and as soon as money clears it'll be gone. I have 1 more cue to get rid of....a "stinger" s/p for $150 + shipping for anyone interested. ($165 total)

Glad to hear you moved your Coker. So.....no more suspense....what have you decided to order and get now?
