Someone recently reposted the YouTube link to "When Snooker Ruled the World", which is terrific. It made me go search for what else is out there. I came across a great one hour audio book titled "Farewell Leicester Square - World Championship Snooker 1927 - 1977". It's a 1992 audio program that chronicles the early 20 year domination of Joe Davis, the dark years of the 50's, and the rise of the modern game starting with Alex Higgins's victory in 1972. Very entertaining.
