I wonder if they play 9-ball by BCA rules? APA is the only league 9-ball game in town right now and that's like not playing 9-ball. If ACS plays "real" 9-ball, I'd sure be interested.

I'm waitin' for MrLucky to get a 14.1 league going, too....

:D So am I!!! LOL! I am in NY i have some illness in the family going on and have been stuck here in this cold weather all week ! I hope to be back in Atlanta by mon or tuesday!

Yeah, there are plenty of 9-ball tournaments around, but the only 9-ball league opportunity is APA. Do you ever play the Sunday 9-ball tourney at the Pool Room?

They tried to form a TAP 9-ball league a couple of years ago, but it fell on its face...it was somewhat disorganized..I played one session of it, and that's about all it lasted.

I'm feeling that TAP is doing much better now...much more player focused than APA...from what I've read they have addressed most of their earlier problems...always some issues with a new start up, though they're not the 'new guy' anymore...thinking of joining, maybe become an operator...the guy who runs it at The Pool Room is a good local guy...

Buford Hwy is pretty bad as rooms go...I was over there last week with a buddy...we played at Hollywood Billiards...not nice but not that bad...1 Carom table...10 9ft Gandy's...Champions is over there as well, again not great...that area caters to a Latino crowd...anybody know the name of this room across the street from Cues?...I was a Cue's last weekend for an APA 8-Ball tourny, didn't even notice it...I'll look for it this weekend tho
ugh...doing the clinic at Cues with Johnny Archer...anybody else?[

Jersy when you pull out of Mr Cues turn left on Chamblee Tucker cross over expressway first shopping center on right turn in. The room name is Hollywood Billiards. Not the same as one on Buford Hwy. Very nice room, Gold Crown IV tables. Check it out.
