This is a wonderful idea & opportunity hosted by Tommy Hill, Sierra Billiards & Ken Mendoza (APA OPERATOR).
Tommy is a Master PBIA Instructor and LEVEL 4 ACS (AMERICAN CUESPORTS) Professional Instructor/ Coach.
In order for local pool communities to endure in hard times and prosper more in good times, it is important , if not
essential, for local and nationally affiliated billiards related enterprises & cottage industries to invest more effort.
I feel blessed to include Tommy my dearest friend. I dislike relying on the the term best friend(s) since it implies
everyone else is a lesser friend and that’s not what I intend. What I mean is some friends are so special you that
you feel good just to see them, even for a short visit, and think of them when they aren’t around. You are connected.
This pool school is probably not a innovative idea but what is worth also mentioning is Tommy Hill’s dedication and
commitment to the game of pool. He formerly owned Blue Fin Billiards B4 COVID & enjoys helping players improve.
He’s attained the highest pool instructor certification imaginable. And he played and won on the pro tour in the 90’s.
Tommy competed against the best players in the world during his pro career. He understands the mental aspect and
pressure of competing for big tournament purses, not for pocket cash but as a livelihood. That’s pressure most of us
will never experience or understand. Every player can improve when it comes to their mental approach to winning pool.
Cudos to Tommy inviting APA players to practice with him & when he’s at Sierra Billiards, he’s available for lessons.
Check out my threads about Sierra Billiards, the nicest pool room in Fresno and likely, immediate Central Valley area.
