This is NOT an open event. You may play if you have not had a 5-6th or better finish in any major tournament. ie Fast Eddies 9Ball Tour, Midwest 9 Ball Tour, Joss Northeast Tour etc.

We have a council to determine eligibility for players that do not play in tournaments or may have had a 5-6th or better finish with extenuating circumstances.

Please call to see if you qualify. To "GET ON THE LIST" you must call when you are leaving your area or mail your entry FEE in early. You must be present at 11:00am PAID OR NOT or any "stand-by" players will be awarded your spot. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you pay ahead and can't make it by 11:00am and you lose your place to a stand by, you WILL get a full refund.

To pull this off in 1 day we must start ON time.

There will be NO more seeding. All draws will be random!

1979? That would make me... yep, if I have to figure it out, it's not right! But, I'll take 1979 as the year! But, the correct year is 2008. :D Remember, - we just had a new year? LOL!

Isn't February 9th also the weekend of the Southwest Amateur Tour tournament in Killeen?

Are you intentionally running against that, or were you not aware of it's existence?

I tried to tell him about it.... but he doesn't listen to me (typical). :D

Actually, he can't push his event further down in Feb... :(

Guess I'll have to go back to Waco in March/April to take photos since I'll be in Killeen that weekend. :) Me loves 8ball.

It is the only weekend I could run. I have yet to make one of their events as they have almost always been the same weekend as Waco 9Ball.:(

I am a BCA member. We have some of the same participants but it's really a completely different type tournament.

Aint it great to have so many choices!!!

I began to lean heavily towards punk and new wave that year... LOL
 
I should be able to make it to this one Ray. I missed the last Fast Eddies event due to Cedar fever! Just throwing this out there. I have a pool table for sale if anyone is interested. E-mail me and I'll forward pic's and my asking price. It's an 8' Olhausen Drake II.

Yeah that Cedar has Been kickin' arse here too!! Clariton D does the trick and not bad for your game. :)

I can remember 1979 (Almost)

It was the year I started to go to bars and clubs legally :)

Was a rock station in my town that sponsered live bands and only charged 93 cents. That's right, the station was WQFM 93.3 FM.

I got to see:
REO Speedwagon
Styx
Cheap Trick
Ted Nugent
Ultravox
The Stranglers
Sammy Hagar
George Thoroughgood..et., et., etc...

Now I can pay $500 for decent seat at the eagles concert just cuz they aren't getting by with their royalties.

WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO THIS COUNTRY

PS.... Did I mention that at some of these shows it was nickel beer night too! All the Pabst or Miller you could drink for a dollar

Just the opposite. Looking to upgrade my table. Tighter table may help tighten up my game.;)

If you would like a Diamond table, I have 24 available now. There are 8ft Professionals and 9ft Professionals. 1 year old with Diamond light and balls!!

A pool hall closed down after 1 year in business. Good equipment, bad management!:eek: :) :D

You need one? All are priced VERY good! Discounts on 10 or more.

All the 8fts are 4 13/16th" pockets currently.

9ft's are all ball return and 4.5" pockets

All tables come with 9ft Diamond lights and Super Aramith Ball sets!!
