My cue came with a polycarbonate ferrule and i'm looking to replace it with an Ivorine IV Capped Ferrule which is harder and more durable(is it?), are there other white ferrule materials out there that are harder?

LBM, but I've heard it is hard to find good quality these days.

Personally I like micarta, mason's micarta or some from Richard Harris.

Also, aegis 2 is real nice!
Plenty of authority and usually a nice crisp hit.

Ivorine 4 is better for collar work imo.
It's really heavy and def will deflect more.

Allot of people are into juma.
Plays really nice with a medium feel.
Durable stuff though.

The new new is this stuff called tomahawk material.
Super light weight but extremely hard.
Definitely less deflection than ivorine 4,
but probably close to the same hardness.

If you're interested in the Tomahawk material, contact Kelly Peterson...aka MVPcues here at AZB. His website is MVPcues.com
