Figured Purpleheart

Alright I want to know who went and bought up all of the figured purpleheart and quilted bubinga!!! I was all excited wrote the numbers down that I wanted called up and was told it was all gone. Looked like some really nice wood! Oh well someone got a good deal.

I bought enough to build about 10 cues :)

But I did not buy it all because I wanted to share:cool:

It wasn't all gone as I just bought the last board not 5 minutes ago. I wanted some of that Pompelle Bubinga also but they are out of it for now.

I took 6 pieces and then posted. I was hoping a few would get product. I also was too late to get any bubinga.

Roy, Thanks for sharing with us. I did manage to get two pieces of the bubinga and a couple of other interesting pieces. I only asked about the figured purpleheart squares, I should have asked about the boards.

I got the last one they had. It's size is 1.5X7X37" for 80.00. I'll get 9 or 10 cues out of it so that can't be beat. I told him that it was the worse looking board of the bunch but he said that actually it wasn''t as the light glaring off it made it look not as figuired on that one side.

That pomelle really looks good also but it was all gone before I came along. He said he may have some more shortly. Thanks for the heads-up Mase.
