Figuring out the pin size of a shaft with no butt

Is there an easy way to do this? I have an older predator shaft with no butt to try it on. It's a larger pin size threaded into the wood with no insert so I was assuming it was 3/8x10 but I think radial pins might be similar size? Are there any other big pins that are common? Does home Depot sell bolts or pins with the same threading that I can use? Ty for taking the time to answer what might be a silly question.

Edit: would you guys be able to tell from a picture? Or are there pins that look too similar?

Radial, 3/8x7.6
3/8x10.
No to home depot on those sizes.

With 3/8-10, the tips of the threads will be angular and sharper, radial threads will be rounded. If you can get a good picture of them, I might be able to tell.

Very likely 3/8-10. 3/8-11 and 3/8-12 and cuetec (very close to 3/8-14) also exists.
Best bet is to go to the pool room and see if someone has a 3/8-10 cue you can try it on.
If you have a cuemaker in your area, the threads can be easily converted. Super easy if you just need to add a brass insert.

Have you seen many predators in 3/8x11 or 3/8x14? Way to unnecessarily complicate things

So how come you have a random shaft with an unknown joint? Did you steal it? Just kidding. But did you?

Most likely Radial as it's a standard and ubiquitous joint for Predador. Best to screw it on a Radial butt to be sure. Should be easy as they are very popular.

you could ask people if you can try their joint protectors. maybe you will find one that fits. a tournament could possibly yield the most tries.
That's not a reliable method because joint protectors are usually very loose. Many unrelated jp will seem to fit

It came (as a surprise) in the case I purchased from a pawn shop. I really only want to figure out the pin so I can sell it. Do you want to buy? I'll give you a good price, azb special
