yep, you read it right, i got some decent rolls last night, the balls cooperated off of the break for the most part, and i ran some racks. a couple of them were very difficult, i was almost proud of myself to have gotten out. and i ran more than i messed up, which was the most gratifying.

funny though. i went down to play, got some decent rolls, ran out a couple of times, then had to leave for about 10 minutes. when i came back, the bad rolls reappeared, with no shots, clusters, difficult spreads, no balls down, etc, etc. i guess i should have kept playing instead of leaving for 10 minutes and coming back.

however, after i broke for supper, and came back the balls started rolling good again, and i ran some more racks.

all in all, it was a good night.

Do you understand the term, "standard deviation?" It will help you to not get upset by SLIGHT variances in your game. The fact that you're upsetting yourself about your game changing within one or two games, the balls rolling "good" one minute and "bad" the next, and when you upset yourself about a few days of down play, means that you probably could benefit from looking at the bigger picture and how you will fluctuate within it.

Go here and see how your game will ALWAYS vary from the norm (for you), one way or the other. I don't care if you're Willie Mosconi, it will still vary somewhat.

why spend time whining about the rolls.....the rolls are what you create.....just take stock in the fact that you are doing the right things and with time you will see your game come to fruition.....dont waste time pissing and moaning when things dont go just how you expect them.....all things in life happen for a reason and there are reasons whether you like to admit it or not that your game fluctuates.....take a step back and be honest and maybe you will find some of the small flaws that tend to blow up on you and make you feel like nothing is going your way.....just a thought, juston
