first cue? HXT 12.75 mm vs Players 13mm with tip of choice

pros/ cons/ recommendations between the 12.75mm hxt shaft with the standard kamui soft tip vs a 13mm players with a replacement tip like an ultraskin medium or similair

Go with the HXT. Ridiculous shaft for the money. The PureX line would be my choice. Great looking cues, with a ton of bang for the buck. They're made by the folks that make Lucasi and Predator.

havent owned any but have hit with a few of them, could easily be a life long playing cue

Get the HXT version. It is is a great playing shaft and it comes with a quality tip. Cant go wrong with one, I still have mine that was the first cue I ever bought

HXT Lot of bang for the buck. I prefer a harder tip though. You may not.
