Update last week I wrote about a cue I recieved from Fisher. I stated it had too stiff a hit for me. I had only played about 30 games since Dec of 2005 until last week and I felt the cue was to stiff and lacking feed back. It has a Moose Joint, a G-10 pin and a wizard tip all of which I had never played with. I played again last night in an 8 ball tourny on base, 17 people, I took fourth because I dogged a straight in 8 on the hill. but I am developing a relationship with the cue and feel for the cue ball. If i do my part the cue is more than capable of doing its. I have a brake cue and I know I should use it but this cue brakes like gang busters and I have to admit I was premature on the hit being too stiff. I am able to do what i can remember I should be able to do and have come very close to doing the things I think I should be able to do. I am building a very good relationship with the Fisher cue and I believe the issue I was having was my time away from the game and the not being used to the changes in this cue over the one I was aquainted with. The cue still has a stiff hit but I am beginning to get comfortable with it and even more to appricate it.
