Fitting a GORINA cloth onto an IPT (Diamond) table

Hi all,

My table has just arrived from America, but unfortunately the wrong cloth was put on.

However, I have the proper cloth now, but I have had to get someone in to fit it but we are not 100% sure what to do. Can anyone help and answer the following questions; (please only answer if you are 100% sure, thanks)

  • The cloth is to be stapled on?
  • Is any glue to be used to secure the cloth?
  • What's the best way of fitting the cloth to the cushions?

This Should be done by a table installer cloth is to be stapled on and the rails are very tricky and if the cloth is not installed the proper way your table will play like SH#*.

I have 46 Tables in my room so trust me I would not do it myself!

I was never intending to do it myself - I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole! It's just a friend of mine does English 8 ball tables, and he wanted to see what others said about this table as it's an American one..

As it happens, got a text from another player who found an expert, so it's sorted now. Coming on Tuesday so can't wait to get practising on the proper Gorina cloth!!
