I am a big fan of the flexable shaft (Meucci, McDaniel etc). What other cue makers offer tapers that produce a lot of snap?

cueman said:It is not just the taper that produces "snap". It has almost as much to do with tip and ferrule as it does the taper. Meucci, Predator, Dave Barber and My Son's "Z" line cues all use ferrules that produce a lot of cue ball action. I put the High Action ferrules on upon request, but my son really likes them and puts the high action standard on his cues as standard equipment. He solid caps them for added strength.
cueman said:Our high action ferrules are made of a higher quality of ABS than you can commonly find in rod form. They are slightly beige color but not ugly translucent like most ABS natural rod is and not quite as soft. One inch long, threaded and solid capped. Cost is 10 for $25 and can be found at www.cuesmith.com
