The first event is now full with 64 players and 1 or 2 on the waiting list.
There are some big names on the list with the likes of Strickland, Williams, hall, Morris, Duel there are just to many names to mention.

Well Tony, after the way that you beat up on that road player at Strokers the other day, I may just have to buy YOU in the calcutta (WHAT ? No calcutta ? Oy-Vey !)
I just finished watching Richie Richeson break even playing some one-socket giving 9-5 at Planet 9-Ball and he said that he is signed up to play at Capone's this weekend too..... Doug

Yes a Calcuta would have been sweet. However there has been talk of some of $500 a man ring game?.

Ring Game ? Where are they going to put it ?
I'm wondering how thay can accomodate 64 players on the tables at Capone's in a TWO DAY event starting at noon (have they expanded the room ?)....
I just got off the phone with Rocky McElroy and reserved a seat to come sweat the action... Doug
 
If they have a ring game it will be on the sunday.
64 is a good number there are ten Gold Crowns and they all play good so the matches should run prity quick. They had a few events there last year and got thru the matches so i cant see it being a problem, also they have the entry's already in so they can do the draw right away.
see you there doug will be sweating it with you only from the playing side.

Planet Pool event in Sterling, VA...117 players...11 tables....matches 'till 1am...ouch!
