I know I saw this posted recently and can't find it?

Robert Weir's Flyin' W cues were actually re-marked cues if I remember right.

A friend recently picked one up, and although he likes the hit. he was wondering about the story behind these cues.

Any help??

Thanks,
Joe

Bob was not a cuemaker the cues were made by the Helmstetter (sp?) co. I've known Bob since he was a kid but haven't seen him in years. The cues were made around the early to middle 70's. He was living in Houston at the time and even pretended to have a shop. They were pretty nice cues but he should not have claimed to be making them. I may even have one of his old brochures around somewhere.
