Foot on floor foul

I notice that some people break with all their might and they tend to jump and leave no foot on the floor while they hit the cue ball, can this be considered a foul shot?

I know, it's kinda chicken s**t to call a foul but it it's pretty funny to see the guy's face once you call it.

i never seen anyone jump when breaking the balls, maybe just one leg like Francisco, but yes i think it would be funny as hell to see that being called on someone.

Ever seen George Breedlove break? I've seen him jump almost as high as the table when he gets everything into it.

Technically it's a foul. More difficult is to prove that both of shooter's feet were not touching the floor at the moment of impact. I think 99% of the breakers who jump during their break, jump right after the tip touches the cueball, not during it. Jumping after the contact between the tip and the Qball is not a foul.

I have to agree with this. Most people who actually jump off of the ground during the break, do it after they have made contact with the ball already.

Good luck with calling a foul on this anyway if you decide to contest it during a match!
