yea there are several ustream apps out there, hard to figure out which is which

I went ahead and got the broadcaster and viewer

I use the viewer from the app store. I heard that At&t is gonna start charging extra for excessive bandwidth usage!!! I hope not!

Got the streaming one, and it works great on a 3GS.
May set something up in the local pool hall: Universe Billiards, Petaluma CA
Not much going on there to stream though.

I'm in the process of testing external microphones that hook into the iPhone, just trying to find a suitable extension for these ThumbTacks.
That way you can put a mic next to the table while keeping the iPhone at a suitable viewing distance. It would even be great for a commentator to use the mic while the iPhone is over the table. :cool:
