I have an '05 fancy Skip Weston that is for sale again. I had two deals on the line for this cue but both fell through so, it is up for sale (or trade) again.

Four points of ebony into curly maple. Veneers are maple, putumuju, purpleheart, and ebony (inside to out). Razor-sharp, two-piece ivory peacocks in each point.

Butt sleeve is gaboon ebony with a total of 40 ivory inlays in railroad track pattern. Ebony, ivory, and silver Bushka rings at all locations.

Black lizard wrap.

The joint is 5/16x14 piloted Stainless Steel. Both shafts are a full 13mms with ivory ferrules and have only been test hit. Just over 19.5 oz.

This cue is in brand new condition. I am looking to get $2,500 or best offer. Trades are welcome (especially Mottey and White cues).

For better pics, please PM me an email address or email me directly at pharaoh68@hotmail.com

This cue is dead on perfect. To illustrate:

Veneers: perfectly even, every veneer lines up point to point, all the way around

Peacocks: perfectly aligned 2-piece inlays, sharp points with no filler/glue crap anywhere

Notched Diamonds: perfectly notched by Skip himself, not pre-notched

Lizard Wrap: perfectly applied, no visible seam and in brand new, shiny-ass condition.

Butt/Shafts: dead straight, both together and apart.

I think we all know how I feel about this cue, lol. It's the dead nuts, I would put the level of precision up against any cue, from any maker.

To boot, this cue hits great and balances very evenly, even with a steel joint. Imo, that even balance is another feature of Skip's cues not often mentioned.

At 2500 it's a steal. Same cue from other makers (ones in the ballpark re execution) will cost at least 1k more.

I agree

Skips work is outstanding. I had one a few years ago that was the best cue yet I've had out of hundreds. The price is fair. Good luck Pharo. Oh' and by the way. It does not matter what I think the price should be. It also does not matter what you have in it. That is between the buyer and the seller. Very :D nice cue!!!!!!!!

Smooth transaction

Just wanted to thank Brian for trading for this Skip Weston cue,its the nicest skip I've seen and as usual the work is outstanding,I recently had a similiar style cue and skips work is far better than the other one and Brian was very smooth to deal with, thanks

Charley-
Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Perhaps we'll have the chance again sometime. I hope you enjoy the Skip. The Mottey is beautiful.
Regards,
Brian
