I don't see the big deal. He could have given $5.00 for it at a yard sale. His asking price is whatever he wants it to be. If you don't want it, don't buy it.

Its your cue so price it as you see fit

But don't get upset if someone points out what it sold for recently through public information. Its not like its hidden somewhere. Thats just people looking out for one in another, and can't see that as a bad thing. We all know you look for deals, buy the deals, and resale them for a profit. That is just plain smart on your part and speaks well of your eye for product.

Let's imagine you're a room owner with a nice little proshop where you sell all the big production names as an authorized dealer. How would you feel if I popped-up everytime a customer came in to buy a Joss or a Meucci or a McDermott, and told them the prices you were paying directly from the factory? What if I let them know they could get the same cue on ebay for 1/3 of your price? What if a bunch of my friends were laughinng in your face while I was doing it? Would that be acceptable? Would that still be "people looking out for one in other?" Why is this any different?

I'm only 22, but I've always been smart enough to never refuse good advice. It's a pratice that pays big dividends. The first thing I learned is if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. The second is let people underestimate you, and the third is buy low; sell high.

Yes, and someone also should of taught you not to try and rip people off...

Let's see, you are trying to sell a nothing special SW with a warped shaft for 3000. *SW's are already overpriced to hell and back*
You were trying to sell an Omega/DPK sneaky for twice what you paid for it, it also with a warped shaft.
And then you want to try and almost double your money on this cue.

Now what do I call this? I call this a bunch of smart consumers here that are looking out for one another...sorry to knock your profit...but you are not going for profit dude, you are trying to rip people off in my opinion.

Gee...I paid 600 for it and I want 600 back out of it. What's wrong with that? And the only people that will make money off it are the shippers and Paypal. I am quite comfortable holding on to it til it sells or not sells. Had many offers in trade on it, some very good offers, but I turned them down. Looking forward to keeping it in my collection now with my Stacey.

FS Jerry Rauenzahn Cue with Ivory Inlays
Cue weighs 19 ounces even, comes with two shafts, real ivory inlays in the points and windows in the ebony butt. Non-ivory ferrules, but ferrules are nice and long. Four points with four vaneers - yellow, orange, green and black. Very nice vaneer work on this cue. Ebony spear on each point. Cue's only flaw is two minor finish knicks in the butt. Delrin buttcap. Very nice hitting cue...5/16-14 joint. Thick silver rings at A B. Very clean and classy looking cue. I was getting out with it only after a few shots. Plays very similar to my Schon/Predator setup...but with a bit more feel. Cue comes with a 1x2 like new Porper and cocobolo joint protectors.

Asking $750 which includes insured shipping.

Only reason selling, raising money for a SW.
