The other day while going thru one of my closets preparing for the Hopkins Expo I came across a case full of cues I hadn't seen in years.
One of them was this Schick/Hopkins jump handle butt. It was originally part of a cue set that was included in a large cue deal with Jim Lull
many years ago, along with a fancy early Gus Szamboti cue and some other miscellaneous cues. Unfortunately he did not follow through and I was out a few cues and some cash....
I was telling Joe about the deal that when Jim's estate was confiscated and later sold at auction, I was never able to get my cues.... Then Joe tells me he remembers reading something on AZB about this Schick/Hopkins cue set. I do have the jump handle in my possession, as Jim never sent me the remainder of my cues. I do believe the set should stay together... so call Mark at Pool Table Magic 860-627-8494 and I will send you this cue handle. Your set will now be complete and I hope you enjoy it for many years.
