Hi, all, I am selling a Jerry Franklin era Southwest. This cue is pre-date, pre-cactus, from 1991. It is Pau Ferro wood with six birdseye maple points (3 high, 3 low) and a nice birdseye maple ring in the buttsleeve. Cue has the original white and green spec linen wrap, and matching green-accented rings. Everything except the tips are all original.
The cue has only seen about two years of regular use, as it was in a closet for most of the time since it was originally bought. Cue rolls dead straight with shaft #1, and has perhaps the slightest light-wavering under shaft #2 when rolled, which I could probably get away without mentioning if I were so inclined; most people would just list it as straight and wouldn't bat an eye (as would the people buying).
The cue has an LOA and the new owner will be provided with a personalized LOA from Laurie upon purchase of cue.
This Southwest is in terrific shape. The shafts were just cleaned up into immaculate shape by the guys at SW, with fresh tips, no dings and smooth as glass. The butt is in fantastic shape, with the only blemishes a handful of small surface dings in the buttsleeve. They can be seen in the pictures.
