I understand the concept of "Make your balls before the next guy" does not change. But that type of atmosphere just isn't for me. or in other words. It would be heaven to some folks I imagine. But not for me. And as always yes,Thank you for the stream!

I agree. I played in Wisconsin and Minnesota for 31 years ('55-'87) and remember most events as being more user friendly...not so noisy, cramped or glaring lights.
Of course, I played in my share of not so well run tournaments as well...all over the country.

Upper Midwest State Tournaments
This is the usual setup for the State Tournaments up here. Large open civic center or convention center, with concrete floors and no lights for each table. I go to several of these each year, and don't especially like the atmosphere, but I get to see quite a few of my competitors and friends from over the years. After 20 or so years, that's a lot of history. I try to enjoy it, no matter if I win or lose. I've met a lot of great people over the years.

Gunner's team took first place in masters. Fun to watch and Play in. Lights were loud but that is they only thing I can think of over this weekend. Good time
