I put the order in for this cue some time in 2008...Gene and Renee' at Crown Custom Cues are great people and the cue hits a ton I just need to move it. Everything is deadstr8 together and apart however there is a separation in the finish around one of the rings, shown in pic as best as I could get it to with the glare.
When I first got the cue, in 2011 xD..yea took forever, it wasn't there but shortly after.. maybe a couple weeks I started noticing the "crack".. cue was still str8, no vibrations.. figured it was just in the finish. After a month or so it stopped spreading and what you see there has been like that for almost 2, 2 1/2 years now. Part of me feels the humity had something to do with it, assembled in Oklahoma and shipped to me in Miami. Anyway, I'm sure it could use a refinish as it always has looked a tad cloudy to me in the forearm over the Ebony also.

Shaft2: 29.5''/ 12.8mm / 3.93oz / Kamui Black M
Butt: 29.5'' / Diameter in the center of handle 29.25mm / 15.83oz w/o bumper.
Joint: Black phenolic collar, 3/8x10 G-10 pin (clear)
Both shafts are a hair longer than 29.5, guessing an extra mil or so was left to resurface over the years of retipping. Glad to post or pm any other stats of the cue.
Not sure if Crown is making cues at the moment but if they are you'll likely wait awhile sadly.. I'm positive you'll enjoy the hit of this cue.. can really gin it too.
The figure in that maple burl is insane..and the shafts are easily comin in at 25+rings per inch. Asking 600 shipped. Will consider offers ofc. :grin-square:
