First of all... I am not interested in help with knowing about what I own or negative comments, or what you think my shaft is worth. if you can't be respectful, please move on. I am offering a rare, quality product, I ship fast, insured, and with tracking. NO nonsense please
This is not an average 314 that you bought from Seyberts, or wherever. This is a best of the batch, hand picked pre cat 314. It is very dark in color and on the dense side compared to most. It is from the old Predator factory that was in the good ole US of A.
As many of you know these older shafts play fantastic. The only issue was ferules on the early shafts. This never had a predator ferule installed. It has an lbm ferule that is 3/4 inch in length and was installed by one of the best cue guys around. He also put the collar and ring on.
Considering it's age, it is in VERY good shape. No major dings etc. It has not been sanded on, best I can tell. It is full in size. 12.7 at the ferule is my best guess based on holding it side by side with other shafts. I do not own a micrometer
This shaft is 30" in length. It has a piloted 5/16-14 pin. the pilot length fits a Joss perfectly. It also matches up with older Mottey's, Scruggs, early Predators, and others. It will not perfectly fit a Schon.
This is the best playing shaft i have ever touched. NO ONE has ever played with it and not liked it.
Is the shaft straight? Well..... I do not own a lathe so I truthfully can't answer that question. It rolls straight and also rolled straight on the cue i had it on. If you are super picky about a 20 year old shaft spinning on its dead center, please move on. This is as good of an example of an older 314 as i have ever seen. you won't be disappointed with it's play i promise.
The price is $200 shipped. I will send it to you in a cheap case just for protection purposes only. I am not selling it for $150 so don't ask.
It is well worth the money I am asking
