Hey guys…got a player here. I’m listing this for a friend, so I will have to run all offers by him prior to accepting/declining/countering. I do have the cue in hand, so I can answer any questions pertaining to it.
The cue is being listed for sale, but he wouldn’t mind a trade. As for a trade, he is wanting a wrapless cue on the plus side of 19 oz, preferably with 2 shafts and a pin-size of 3/8x10. The LESS fancy, the better; he wants to be shooting with a very basic cue, just a great shooter.
Steve Kornele 2003…4 point Purple Heart into BEM with a black veneer. Purple Heart butt with 4 BEM windows. The buttcap appears to be ivory, as it shows the visual characteristics of ivory, just not 100% positive. Black/silver/black rings as four locations. 5/16x14 SS joint.
Butt: Rolls straight and weighs in at 14.9oz and 29”.
Shaft One: Slight wobble, tip does not leave table. 11.5mm, 3.8oz and 29”. Ivory ferrule.
Shaft Two: Slight wobble, tip does not leave table. 12.3mm, 4.2oz and 29”. Ivory ferrule.
This cue plays very well, with a stiff, crisp hit, and was used as a main player. As such, the cue shows signs of its age. Finish around the rings has begun to come up, but mainly noticeable in the butt sleeve. Butt sleeve, including cap show a few nicks from bumping tables.
Asking price is now $530 shipped CONUS. There is some wiggle room in this price, so don’t be shy, but keep it respectable. Again, he would really like to trade as well, so feel free to send me offers, which I will then let him review.
With any questions, feel free to PM me. If additional pictures are needed, just let me know.
