Dave had encountered a problem in finding good hardwood wedges for pool table set-ups in the last year or so. Most of you are probably not aware that the wedges used by most of the professional installers were supplied by Valley, Dufferin and Norwood, house cue manufacturers. The wedges were a by-product of the full splice production. With the closing of these manufacturers in North America over the last few years, there has developed a shortage of good hardwood wedges. Dave had to set up some jigs in his shop to cut his own quality hardwood wedges for his crews to use and has recently started selling them to other installers.
