The Mark Bear is a rare double splice. The joint and buttcap are buffalo horn. It weighs 19 oz. Two 13mm shafts with ivory ferrulles. One of which is a Bear custom laminated radial shaft. Mark has only made a few of these. Asking 1200.00 shipped overnite to U.S.
The Nitti is loaded with ivory. 8 ivory points recut into ebony. Ivory buttcap and ferulles. Weighs 19 oz. It's got the large radial pin with the solid ivory joint. This cue hits real good. A leather wrap sets this cue off. Asking 1800.00 shipped.

Mark Bear does some real pretty work. Don't see many of his cues on the market, either.

The Bear has been sold. The Nitti is still up for grabs. It's a beautiful cue. I have many expensive cues that I play with and bring to the poolhall. The Nitti is the only one that anyone ever noticed.

how do you like the hit of the nitti? Been thinking of buying one (can't afford yours unfortuantly) next year.

Every cue hits different. The Nitti I have has got the radial pin into a solid ivory joint and I can say it most definately hits a ton.
