I recently bought this for my new cue so I could compare it with the stock shaft for a few weeks, then decide on one and be done with it. Chalk it up to personal preference, because this is a really cool shaft. It's been used, but it has no dings and is certainly straight. I see some light brown dirt? on the ferrule that I couldn't wipe off, but other than that it's in excellent cosmetic condition.
It has the 5/16 X 14 piloted joint for Schon or Joss cues. And it has a silver ring which closely matches the ring of the butt.
