This was a mystery cue to me until a few months ago. Kudos to jayman for identifying it as an old Adam, model MA-5.
Specs....the cue is 57" when assembled, 18.8oz, bird's eye maple with partitioned windows in the butt. Looks to be white with green speck linen wrap...well worn. It has the old style (weave) black linen phenolic at the joint collars, 5/16-18 pin (piloted) and the brass insert fits snugly into the pilot hole. Fiber ferrule. This is a very solid hitting cue and was a PLAYER. The shaft is slightly shorter than the butt, so it may have been retenoned/ferruled at some point. Original finish...could use a refinish.
First person who wants it can have it for $225 shipped. Check, money order, or Paypal ok.
