FS: Schon Ltd 728 w/ 2 Shafts and Predator SE8 by Pechauer w/ 314 II and other stuff
I know I'm new around here, but I am an aspiring chef in nyc and am just selling a few cues in order have some security as a transition into my new career. I realize that i don't have any cred here, but i have sold ski and audio equipment and have people who would vouch for me on those respective forums. I'm not looking for a killing, just fair value for the 2 cues so if my asking is too high, please give me some insight into how much i should ask for. I am hoping for around $1000 per cue ($2000 total). I have attached photos at the bottom. I live in NYC, so please feel free to drop by and take a look if you live close (917)669-5186. Thanks for looking!
The SCHON LTD 728 is also in pristine condition (15-20 Sessions) and comes with a Schon and 314 Shaft. It is 1 of 12 of it's kind. The forearm and butt sleeve each has 6 Ebony points which each has a further Ivory point. Each point also starts with an Ebony crown motif into an inlay that looks like a green turquise (not sure what the gem is called). All of this is set in Bird's-eye Maple. The wrap is a black and white spec Irish Linen. There are also 3 rings (above and below wrap/above butt cap) that have inlays of Ivory, Ebony, and Cocobolo. The butt weighs 15.5oz, the 314 weighs 3.75oz (19.25 total/11mm tip), and the Schon shaft weighs 4.25oz (19.75 total/13mm tip). The 314 has some blueing on the ferule but rolls straight. The Schon shaft has only hit a few balls and then the edge of the tip (leather, not ferule) broke off so i haven't really used it since. It is in like new condition. I don't remember what i payed for this cue, just looking for fair value ($600 shipped?).
The PREDATOR SE8 (SOLD), is almost in mint condition (played 6-7 sessions). Only 100 of these cues were made by J. Pechauer. This cue is number 56 out of 100. The forearm and butt sleeve each feature 8 Ebony points (4 long and 4 short) into Bird's-Eye Maple. There are 12 real Malachite diamonds on the cue. Each long point has a Malachite diamond. The wrapless section has 4 Malachite diamonds as well. The cue comes with a Predator 314 II shaft. The shaft has some light blueing and a few scratches on the ferule, but it rolls straight. The tip on the 314 two is Moori III Medium. The 314 II weighs 4.25 oz. and has a shaft diameter of 12.70 mm. The butt of the cue alone weighs 15.5 oz. The joint is stainless steel unilock. The cue comes with 2 Predator joint protectors.
I bought the cue for around $1,500.00 with the one shaft and am hoping for $1000 to $1200.
I also have a Predator SPW (SOLD), Predator p2 (SOLD), Predator 2k1, Predator (SOLD) and Instroke (black vinyl) cue cases and a couple of 314 shafts that i would like to sell. The Predator p2 and 2k1are in very good condition and the SPW just has one chip by the wood to wood joint area. Thanks again for looking and have a great day!
