Ya he beat all of them .They were playing for a dollar a rack he was running out lol.He never lost a rack. He beat a guy out of $2,000.00 once playing with a mop and every time he shot the mop would hit him in the butt lol it was funny.

That's great, I am curious where Larry is originally from, I heard Wisconsin, but I could be wrong. But I have always been curious what it is like to shoot with a mop/broom stick. You know when you have those days where you can shoot the lights out with any crappy pressed on tip warped, nicked and dinged up sticky house cue. Well I bet the radius of the handle end is about right to get at least a little english, and if your playing with someone that doesn't know any better, I bet you could do fairly well. Now top that of with a Pro that can easily beat the majority of the AZ'ers out there, and put only the little pressure of $1 a rack I bet he did real good. I wish i could've seen it in person.
 
I know he used to live in Easley, SC. Where does he live now? He got a hella of a stroke, probably the strongest out there. In 2005 carolina open, he out shoted Bustamante.
 
Larry lives in Beloit WI right now . Beloit is where he grew up. Larry plays awsome and breaks super hard look for him soon in a few more events like the ipt.....:) :) :)
 
I have a good friend of mine who shoot pretty damn good who i consider to be my billiard coach.. Bernie Kirby...He told me about Larry.. Bernie placed pretty well in the Smokey Mountain Shoot out one year , however Larry one the event...Bernie said "Larry Nevell could give God the 7 ball and still win" ha ha ha i always laugh at that when i think about it...

P.S.

For those of you that know Bernie or have heard of him here in Va. He is still in the hospital and has been in ICU for damn near 2 months..went in for a heart procedure, a 4 day event 1 day for for surgery 3 days possible for recovery..two months later..still in ICU...

its funny , a week after having a heart attack ..Bernie son gives me a call asking what im doign tonight...asked me if i wanted to shoot some and watch his dad shoot..A week after having a heart attack there he is banging them in for 50 bucks a set..ha ha ha i hope i have that much love for the game when i get older.ha ha ha
