Gallego beats Reyes 25-24 in 9 ball in Bacolod City Philippines tonight! They played even, no handicap. P150,000 is the bet and they might play again but still have no idea when.

Gallego is quite popular here in the Philippines,
especially of course to billard enthusiasts.
At the same he is good pool player too.
Additionally though Gallego is playing in
his hometown of Bacolod, that's where he
came from.

Well, it means that Efren would be happy
if he left the game of pool coz a lot of
up and coming Filipino are just waiting
by the wings to explode. I mean a lot of
them....In fact just recently our City here,
Cebu City to be exact, which is second to
the capital of Manila, just held a tournament
wherein Dennis Orcullo won..another Filipino
up and coming filipino talent. And besides that
they also held a 9-12 years and 13 to 15 years
old category and what i saw on TV is that filipino will
not be out of talent as far as billiard is concern... :)
 
well yes, gallego is rather popular too. that was a really close match. thanks for the info Arnz, hope you keep us updated. :)
