I did a search and looked through the first couple of pages. Thought it would be fun to post our best finds via craigslist/garage sales/ and pawn shops.

This is my best find to date. Cue, Case, joint protectors, and 7 preflag master chalks. Cue is model HE. What have you guys found?

Most of these were off craigslist. A friend of mine did a "mash" of all craiglist and gives me a special search for "pool cue"....pretty fun to see what comes up.

I found a Schon R-9 in an older Mcdermott ( built like a take) square case with two shafts and 5 pre-flag masters chalk. On Craigs list in Terre Haute Indiana.Odd thing was it had stitched rings but rounded points. Chris Tate said it was rare to find the stitched ring with rounded pantogragh points! He called it a switch over cue and the could have been a Runde made cue.......should have kept it, but alas I am a mercenary ........money spoke louder than the cue. Had Dickie Neighbors of RHN cues fame, make a new shaft. This made three shafts, but the shaft had taper roll out (along with another one he built) and he did a poor job trying to match the stitched ring work on the shaft collar.....did not match at all:frown:. I still bought and paid 150.00 or 190.00, can't remember. Lesson learned. Next time I'll buy a used one or go to Evan at Schon:rolleyes:. Anyway I sold the cue to a fellow in Japan. He said he liked it.
