just curious why the change to 8 ball?? I personally like the change. Sorry I couldn't make it out to Fairview this past wknd, but I got stuck working. I know I am off the 4th for Granite City, then again the 11th, and the wknd in Sept. Who won this past wknd?? i'd love to hear some results. Thanks Mike, great work from you and Danny on both successful GAT seasons. Looking forward to playing more events in 2008 season

Since the start of the GAT in 2005, we always have players asking us to run an 8-Ball Tour. Running 2 seperate tours is a lot of work and too many events for the players. We don't want 16-25 players per event. With the 8-Ball league players out numbering the 9-Ball league players, we decided to make it 8-ball. We decided to HCP the events and allow the A players to participate because they really don't have any events to play in. They can't really run with the big dogs on the Mid West 9-Ball Tour, but try for the experience and lack of events to play in and they weren't allowed to play on the GAT. NOW they can! Along with any of the league players.
Thanks for the compliments for Danny and I, we do our best with what we have.
