Saw one for sale on FB,,,Osage Beach Mo.....$1000 has a broken slate ,comes with a light . Not a bad price especially if you can find apiece of slate cheap .

Can the slate be repaired?

I had a GC 1 with a cracked slate. My mechanic broke the slate and then glued it together. It works fine.
