GC IV Questions

I recently had a GC IV, that was in storage for a few years, put together. I got it brand new from one of the Miz's tournaments in MS, through a local billiard room. The pockets are extremely tight, 2 balls will not fit in the corner. If a ball hits the rail corner close to one of the side pockets it comes off at a funny angle, and I noticed that the rails corners are hard, not pliable like the rest of the rail. Can anything be done about the pocket size, and hard rails, and if so...approx how much?? I like tight pockets, but these are a little too tight, and even experienced players are getting frustrated. Also, does anyone know if the GC IV is supposed to have counters on either the foot or head rail. Mine does not have them at all.

Thanks

it sounds like you have hard facing you could replace them with softer ones, i recommend the neoprene facing from Diamond. If you can make the pockets larger its depends on how the pockets were tightened, if they stacked the facings, just have remove the extra facings. If the subrails were extended then it could get complicated depending on how they were done.
