Getting closer

I have had many high teens low to mid 20s. They are getting closer together. I know I'm going to beat my 32.
It usually ends with either leaving myself a combo after the break, or a scratch off the break. Nothing worse than busting them wide open, and not getting a good shot.

i feel with you... ;) have exactly the same problem, i guess the knowledge to break the balls accueratly (and not just bang the rack somehow with the breakball) comes with years of practice.

funnierwise, i often had a better result with a breakball below the rack, seems to be a better choice when playing on not so perfect equipment. try it out :)

Try setting up the same break shot (a couple of marks on the table) and hit the break shot several times with different speeds and english. You may be supprised at the different spreads and cue ball position you get from the same break shot.

Thanks! :) I rarely leave it stuck to the rack. Sometimes I just over hit them I guess? The cue ball winds up being hit by another ball and knocked around some. Other times I will make the break shot and another ball will also fall. It would have been better if the second one hung in the jaws, but NO!

I'm finding out it is all about the "Woulda', Coulda', Shoulda's"! :grin-square:

Break shots

I've been watching Bill's videos (Marop) he just put one up of an 81 ball run and I noticed as with the rest of his videos he sets himself up nicely for the break which greatly helps him out.
