Getting & installing rubber bumper on 100-year old cue?

I got four 100-year old (or thereabouts) cues made by O.L. Briggs & Son of Boston. The rubber bumpers are missing or mostly gone. What & how do I replace them?

I am puzzled at how the bumpers are installed. It appears a screw with a wide washer keeps the bumper in place underneath the washer but it also appears another part of the bumper fits over the washer and screw. How does that work? How does screw fasten down the bumper when the bumper also covers the screw?

See photo of a mostly gone bumper showing pieces of bumper left snug under screw and washer.

See second photo of mostly intact bumper completely covering screw and washer underneath it.

How do I install and get a bumper like this? Thanks . . . .

Thanks, Fore Rail. Although I don't see an exact match there or at Prather Cue to that in the Briggs' cue. Could the bumper be made of two pieces with one piece fastened in place by scew and washer and the other piece a rubber plug that fits snugly into the other piece?

OK. So the bumper is two pieces (even though my picture looks like one piece). The eBay item would likely work at $9 shipped. Atlas Supplies has a similar two-piece bumper: Bumper1516 and Bumper.250 selling for $20 + shipping for TEN pair. Hmmmmm......since I need four pair, the Atlas option --- if its like the eBay item --- is the way to go.

The Home Depot version is the thickness of the bumper now and maybe a 1/8" lesser diameter. It has no plug for the hole with screw but for a cost of $5 for four? Whoa! A helluva price.

If you are looking for taller HP has other types.

Whoa! The Home Depot bumper is a dang close replica of the Briggs bumper in diameter and width. That and the price make it the one to get. I can work on getting a screw-hole insert later.

The Home Depot bumpers worked fine. I think the original cues placed some cap over or plug in the screwed-on bumper. I bought 1.5" bumpers , too, at Home Depot that might be cut and used as a plug.
