Getting started...

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the input so far into what kind of lathe I needed and equipment. All your replies have been very helpful. I've bid and won a cuesmith deluxe lathe with all the trimmings and then some from ebay. It should be shipped tomorrow so I am very eager. I was going to purchase one from Chris but I ended up getting this one for about $500 less with a few extras and i've been told that it only has about 25 minutes use on it (bought then put in storage). Plus I get it right away!

I have a few more questions for you guys on what I need to get started, I plan on making an atlas purchase in the next couple days and here is what I think I'll be getting to start

Tips:
(100) Lepro (10) Moori 2S,6M,2Q (5) tiger
(100) Triangle (5) talisman pro Med fiber pads
(50) elkmaster (5) sniper

Ferrule:
should I be buying length of rod ferrule material or the premade ferrules?
I know LBM and aegis are popular, what other kinds of ferrule material should I getting to handle whatever repairs come my way?

wrap:
I'm going to get a linen press and a few single use spools of linen, any recommendations on popular colors would be appreciated. Also going to get a bunch of different leather wraps to try it out.

glues:
I'm looking around town but I can't seem to find glues that I need here. Atlas sells loctite 454 gel for $19. is that expensive? it seems like a lot more than I pay for any instant glues I've used in the past. I'm also going to be looking for some 5 minute epoxy and extra strength epoxy and wood glue around town.

I would also like to get some of the black phenalic tips that people use for break/jump cues but I'm not sure where to get them or what they are called. As well are there any tips that I'm missing that people want on their cues?

Besides that and most importantly what tools am I missing, I want to do tips ferrules and wraps(linen and leather) to start and build from there. I am mostly worried about things that I cannot get in town and have to order as they take a while to get here to canada and the shipping is ridiculous.

Your help is very appreciated, thank you for all replies:)
