Up for sale/Trade(up or down) is a gilbert conversion cue. This cue is in excellent condition. It has been test hit, then put away. It is 18.4 oz., and comes with two 13mm shafts. It has an elephant ear textured brown leather wrap. The cue was made from an old butt (probably Brunswick) that was made in the early 1900's. Andy was able to utilize the original veneers on one side. Andy made new ones for the other side. The wedges are nicely figured elephant ivory, as are the joint and Hoppe ring. The ferrules are synthetic and the tips are a medium hardness. I was told that the wood is a South American rosewood (which looks like a highly figured cocobolo). It is very dark and gives the cue a classy look. The ringwork is a nice touch and sets the cue off nicely. Please PM me offers.
