I have a nice ebony 03 Gilbert J/B, It's George gray lizard print It's George 1/2 leather case, and, 500.00 cash to offer as a trade for a cue.
I am looking for older production cues like R series Schon, old Joss..ect. I am also looking at customs by better know makers.
Your cue must have a straight butt, taper roll that is common in most shafts is ok. I would like the wt. to be between 19.0 and 19.5 oz. Two decent shafts that are better than 12.5 mm.
My Gilbert is:
58"
Butt-ebony with black phenolic collar at the jump joint, fancy rings at the butt and joint collar, 3/8 x 10 pins, straight, 15.2 oz., 29".
Shaft-29", 3.6 oz., 12.77 mm, new HH Ultraskin tip, slight taper roll.
There are a few dings in the butt that have not gone through the finish and a little bit of missing clear at the shaft joint collar. This cue is in real nice condition.
The It's George has been well used and has worn spots in the leather where the leather is now brown. I cleaned the case with Saddle Soap a few times and then a high quality polish to protect the leather. The interior is in great shape and the lock works fine.
