Help with my Titlist Conversion. Tonnes of questions. *PICS!!

Okay everyone, I bought a brunswick titlist cue!!
53 Inches Long
Has had the ferrule cut off and due to dings the shaft is unusable
31 inches up from the butt is not big enough Diameter for a Joint
2 Points are 100% in tact and 2 points dont quite match up at the top.

Questions:
Are all the old titlist cues this long?
Do you generally always have to lengthen the butt and add a buttcap?
Who would you use to do the conversion?
Who has done a fair amount of titlist conversions or specializes in titlist conversions?
Who is readily availiable?
How would you approach it? Is there any things that can take away from the value that i should watch out for?
I was thinking of doing an abony with Ivory inlaid buttcap with an Ivory joints and ferrules, any thoughts?
Leather wrap, any thoughts?
If i get Doug Foster to do it, what do you think of a Hex-Butt design not for playability (i know thats phenominal) but for collectability, would a hex butt hurt it. (I know Doug isn't well known and probably isn't the best choice for collectablity, but i KNOW he does great work)

I am looking to make a collectable here but playability definetly is my main concern, although i will likely never play with it.

The main QUESTION:
I want to convert this Beauty, WHAT do i DO?

SWEET!!!!!

don't worry about the points lining up,,,it's to be expected on a titleist.

you can do ANYTHING you want to the titleist. a buttcap will "clean" it up,,,make it look finished off. like the southwest design?,,,,,get a cuemaker to finish it off that way!! traditional design? flatface phenolic? ss joint? ANYWAY YOU WANT IT, my friend. sell it to me?,,,anyway you want it, my friend:)

i'd get someone like scruggs just because....

personally, i'd keep it simple and make sure THE WHOLE titleist is used. don't let them cut it for the nose(between grip and joint) only.

make sure they give you great shaftwood,,,,straight grained. at least 4 grain lines running down the center.

if you want to make a collectable, get someone well known(scruggs and mottey should be the least well known, imo). otherwise you defeat the purpose of the cue. who'z doug foster??????,,, nothing pejorative intended, but foster ain't gonna make this baby a collectable.

if money were no object, i'd move heaven and earth to get kershenbrock, tad, or gutierrez with an ivory buttcap. whoever you use, remember this when you are pricing,,,,that the cue is essentially done. it's like them converting a house cue, only it's a titleist instead.

Someone like Tim Scruggs is along the lines of what i was thinking. I will drop him an email and see about pricing and availiability.
