glasses

I've worn glasses and contacts. With contacts, there is no distortion of the balls when you're down over the shot. One of the problemsI had was trying not to blink while focusing on the shot. I had laser surgery and didn't have to use glasses or contacts for about 5 years. Now my vision is starting to fade a little and I'm back to glasses. I'm thinking about getting contacts. I haven't made up my mind yet.

Carlton,
Contact Randy Goettlicher at goettlicher@attbi.com. I personally
do not wear glasses but I know that Randy does sell frames
specifically for pool. Randy is a BCA Master Instructor and runs
the Cue-Tech pool School in Dallas, I believe that he can help solve this problem for all of you.
Hit'em well

note *** to get appropriate glasses for pool...
make sure the bar that goes back to the ear loop,
attaches to the lens frame , no higher than the middle of the lens frame...
the lower that it attaches to the frame , the higher the top of the frame is out of your viewing area

I've had my share of playing with glasses and contacts. There was this habit I developed when using glasses... before getting downd to the shot, I used to push the frame against my nose bridge. I remember that when I wore contacts, I used to still push my nose bridge as a force of habit. lol.

I had some problems with having my eyes lasered, but it's a far cry from the rigors of wearing prescription lenses. I would recommend laser treatment. Come to the Philippines and spend $ 1,000 for it, at the same time, you will be able to see a different world of pinoy pool playing. We have up-to-date lasiks equipment here. Some even fly here to get their dental jobs done.

Makes one wonder why Efren hasn't had eye treatment and dentures done, huh.

The plastic frame glasses are no longer available as they have been discontinued by the mfg. At least that was the answer I got back from the UK. Over a yr of total frustration.
