I have recently purchased a used global 7' challenger table in black. I would like to re-felt and re-cushion the table. I would like tourn. blue. My question is, basically is it worth doing that to this table? Would I be able to recoup some of that on selling it in the future? As well, would doing this help it play more like a real table like the diamond table does.

if the table will level than its worth it. don't let your mechanic put new cushions on the old subrail, just buy new rails from either www.ridgebackrails.com or global themselves. there's nothing about a bar box that will compare to a Diamond, the only thing you can compare to a Diamond is a Gold Crown.
The Global bar tables actually play decent, pretty close to the Valley tables. I would not sink too much into it if it wasn't necessary. Dont replace the cushions if you don't have to,it will probably add at least a couple of hundred dollars more onto the costs of recovering. just my 2 cents...
