Hi folks and fellow cue-addicts,
I've tried some (well, most of the brands) carbon chafts in the past and found most of them playable.
Most of them were of good quality and were matching my expectaions regarding hit, feel and deflection.
The only Shafts I cannot reccomend are those Cheapos you can buy through Temu and AliExpress.
Anyway, I decided to have a go on a Full Carbon Cue by dutch Cuebuilder "GO Customs".
There are some options to customise your Cue available on their web-page, whilest talking to them can clarify
all your needs and requirements. It took them two month to build and ship that beast.
Is there is a difference between just a Caabon shaft and a full carbon cue? YES it is.
The cue is very well crafted, was perfectly packed and shipped.
The hit and feel ist very solid.
The sound depends on the tip installed and is clear and on the crisp side,
I have a Kamui Athlete installed w. works very well w. the shaft.
There are allmost now vibrations to the shaft and butt.
The Cue-Ball deflection is low, reliable and, regardless of the shot-speed, it doesn't change much.
