Gold Cross Makers Mark - Cue Identification Question

Hey everyone!

I had a customer bring me this cue recently, trying to figure out who might have made it, and it's rough value. I'm not too worried about the value, but would love to find out who made it. It feels like a really well made cue, but there are a couple of details that have me confused, like the fact that it's using a threaded weight bolt.

Anyone recognize this cue, or the makers mark? I am surprised that I'm unable to find anything about it online, though I may be missing something obvious. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Just a wag but to me it looks like a Players or some other import cue. The cross was probably installed by owner.

The shaft rings and the weight bolt lean that way. It's possible that someone stripped the logo and then had the gold cross added before a new clear coat, but seems like a lot of work for a lower priced cue. It certainly didn't feel like a Players shaft to me, it was very tight grained and stiff, but that could just be due to age and the fact that we live in a desert over here. This is certainly the best theory I've heard, hopefully someone knows more.

Cue must have a godly hit !!⛪
( hope god has a sense of humor and doesnt hit me with a lightening bolt 🙏)

Players come out of same shop as Lucasi, Predator. I've seen/used Players that had super good shafts. Still think its an import of some kind.
