The old timers used to tell me about the pre 1960 built rooms that frequently had brass spittoons as an integral part of the decor. Most of those older rooms were closed by the early 70s.
Never seen those, I thought they were actually built into the tables.

I do need to get a different set of rails for that table. I was going to get the smaller pockets and I guess someone else got my rails and I got theirs?

One of my favorite is when he was dating or potentially dating, he said first thing out of my mouth "CAT OR DOG PERSON?" If they said Cat, he was out of there.
Spittoons: As a young ‘banger’ who often sent the CB airborne, I sometimes had to fish it out of one (NOT a pleasant task).
