Gold Crown Cue Rack L Brackets?

Where are the L brackets supposed to be mounted on the GC Cue Racks. Classic Billiards sells them and they have 4 pictured. I just finish restoring my cue rack but cannot make sense as to where they would go? Are they for the structural integrity or to mount to a wall? Seems like brass would be more for mounting to the wall but there isn’t any place that makes sense to put them?

haven't seen a gc wall rack in yrs so i can't remember. i know they had 4 mounting points to a wall.

They are for support and mount underneath and to the wall. I didn't have the originals so I used a cheap L brackets I had in stock.

those look a lot stouter than the orig.
