the ball box on my ball return keeps spitting balls onto the floor. Anybody have a cure for this problem? I put a piece of rug in the bottom of it and that helps a little bit but it still happens. Thanks

Email Brunswick and ask. I remember playing at a room that had those returns that did that. It seemed like it was only when the balls went in the bottom 2 corner pockets.....like they got there too quick and fast. Only fix I could think would be adding a piece of trim to the box to keep from happening, but I am sure Brunswick has had this complaint before and could help ya!

Thanks PTM I contacted Brunswick and I'm waiting for thier reply. When I get it I'll let you know what they said. Bye the way, I contacted them last week and asked them to send me a copy of the instalation manual (instructions) for all thier Gold Crown models and they emailed them to me right away just incase you are intrested in that. Thanks again

No thanks...lol! We were dealers, but they feel that pool and spa dealers better represt their company than people that are in the billiard industry! lol! Their reputation has kinda been ruined around here because they use spa dealers to promote their tables, and the installers they use haven't helped either..........not sure they even use a level or shims half the time.......they think you just tighten all the screws and it's right!

Well you have a pic of a Gold Crown next to your name and just the same you are a PTM so you must run into alot of GC's so heres Brunswicks fix for the problem anyway.........

You can put a baffle in the box to correct. Many things could be used but
try getting a piece of latex rubber about 3" wide. Half way back from the
front of the box, staple to one side so there is a 2 1/2" clearance to the
bottom of the box. Stretch across and staple to the other side.

Ahhh.......to slow it down before it gets to the point where it pops out? Nice fix! .......as much as I hate the ball returns on most tables, the GC's ball returns are nice. The sound solid! Like a part of the table.

g.c. Brunwick

Howdy; I had problem with inserts on my medlist for the pocket -rails. got in touch with brunwick ,with my problem, ask sulution by e-mail. wethin week time i recieved inserts in mail. good people to do bussines with. " STICK"

Change the angle

We changed the angle 25 years ago (front to the back on the box itself), lowering the back of the box just about one inch more away from the bottom side of the table made them work quite well...
only 14 tables but they are still working...
